Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat

Welcome to Casablanca, the economic capital of Morocco! Our journey begins as our experienced driver picks you up from your accommodation or the airport. Today, we will explore the important places and monuments in the vibrant city of Casablanca. Afterward, we will continue our journey to Rabat.

Our first stop is at Hassan II Mosque. This architectural masterpiece against the backdrop of the sea, is not only one of the largest mosques in the world but also a symbol of the rich Islamic heritage of Morocco.

Next, we’ll visit Habous Market and Quarter, also known as the New Medina. This bustling market features narrow alleys lined with traditional Moroccan shops and stalls selling a variety of goods, from handicrafts to spices.

Then, we’ll take a leisurely drive along Casablanca’s scenic Coastal Corniche as we make our way to a charming seafood restaurant for a delicious lunch.

Our day will continue as we depart for Rabat, the capital city of Morocco. Upon arrival, we’ll explore the iconic Hassan Tower, a minaret of an incomplete mosque from the 12th century.

Day 2: Rabat - Chefchaouen

After enjoying a scrumptious breakfast, our journey continues as we depart from Rabat and make our way to Chefchaouen also known as the “blue city.” Chefchaouen is nestled in the picturesque Rif Mountains of northwestern Morocco.

This town is renowned for its distinctive architecture, with buildings adorned in various shades of faded blue throughout its old town. These captivating blue colors create a tranquil and elegant environment, earning Chefchaouen the reputation of being one of the world’s cleanest cities.

The locals have a tradition of painting their houses blue, as they believe it symbolizes the sky and evokes a sense of heaven and spirituality.

Day 3: Chefchaouen - Meknes - Volubilis - Fes

After breakfast, we will journey to Fes through the mesmerizing landscapes of Morocco, and along the way, we will have the opportunity to explore one of the Imperial Cities of the country – Meknes.

Meknes holds the title of Ismaili capital in Morocco, serving as a testament to its cultural significance. While here, we will visit the famous Bab Mansour, a grand gate that serves as the entrance to the city.

Next, we will visit the Sahrij Souani Bassin, a stunning water reservoir that showcases the genius of Moroccan engineering. This strategically designed basin was used to store water for irrigation purposes, highlighting the advanced technologies employed during the reign of Sultan Moulay Ismail.

One of the highlights of our tour is the Royal Palace, a magnificent structure with seven grand gates. Each gate is adorned with intricate details, made of copper, marble, and small pieces of mosaic. As we walk through these impressive gates, you won’t help but marvel at the craftsmanship and history that surrounds you.

Next, we will venture into the old Jewish Quarter, an area that dates back to the 17th century. Here, we will discover the rich cultural heritage of the Jewish community in Fes. We will also explore the narrow alleys and visit historic synagogues, gaining a deeper understanding of the past and present Jewish life in Morocco.

We start our day with a delicious breakfast at the hotel. Then our journey continues through the mesmerizing landscapes on the edge of the Erg Chebbi, the largest sand dunes in Morocco.

Along the way, we will come across nomadic black tents, scattered in the vastness of the desert. These tents belong to nomadic families who have chosen to embrace a simple and traditional way of life, far from the bustle of modern society.

We will have the opportunity to visit one of these families, where we will be warmly welcomed with a cup of delicious Moroccan tea. This experience will give you a glimpse into the nomadic lifestyle and a chance to learn about their customs and traditions.

Following this insightful visit, we will reach the village of Alkhamliya to enjoy the vibrant Gnaoua music. At this point, we have two options for lunch – either in Alkhamliya village itself or back at our hotel.

After a much-deserved rest, we embark on an exciting camel ride through the awe-inspiring sand dunes of Merzouga, leading you to one of the most amazing sights you will ever behold – the breathtaking sunset that graces the desert horizon.

This time, we will spend the night in a Berber-tented desert camp.

Day 7: Merzouga -Toudgha Gorges - Dades Valley

In the morning, our camel man will guide us on a camel ride to enjoy the breathtaking sunrise over the sandy dunes.

We will then embark on a thrilling and relaxing expedition throughout the vast expanse of the desert, enjoy the view of the camel chain in the middle of nowhere.

After our camel ride, we will return to our camp to enjoy a delicious breakfast and prepare for our next destination – Tinghir and the Todra Gorges. These impressive gorges are known for being the highest and narrowest in all of Morocco.

While there, you will have the opportunity to marvel at the towering cliffs rise dramatically on both sides, creating a breathtaking sight, and perhaps even enjoy a leisurely hike.

Day 8: Dades Valley - Rose Valley - Ouarzazate

We will be passing by the thousands of Kasbahs scattered along the valley. These traditional Moroccan fortresses provide the perfect backdrop for some truly memorable photos. You’ll also have the chance to meet the friendly and hospitable Berber Nomads in their traditional caves, where they have been living for generations.

Our exploration continues onward to the historic Telouet Kasbah, which once served as a grand palace and is renowned for its architectural splendor. For lunch, we will head back to the hotel and enjoy a delicious local meal. In the afternoon, we will continue our exploration of Marrakech by diving into the vibrant atmosphere of the souks within the Medina.

As the day comes to an end, we will make our way to the famous Jemaa El Fna square, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Here, you will experience the true essence of Marrakech as the square transforms into a lively spectacle of street performers, snake charmers, musicians, and storytellers. We then will head back to the hotel to rest and prepare for another adventurous day ahead.

Day 11: Marrakech - Essaouira

In the morning, we will set off on the next leg of our Casablanca Desert Tour and journey towards the beautiful coastal town of Essaouira.

Upon reaching Casablanca, you will have two options: either be transported to your hotel or be conveniently dropped off at the airport, depending on your departure schedule.
