10 Days Tour from Casablanca

Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat

The 10-day tour commences in Casablanca, where you will be conveniently picked up from either the airport or your accommodation.

We will start the day with a panoramic tour of Casablanca, the economic capital of Morocco. Our first stop is the famous Hassan II Mosque. This architectural masterpiece is a true marvel, as it stands gracefully overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Take your time to admire the intricate tile work and the grandeur of this sacred place.

Next, we will explore the vibrant medina of Casablanca. Immerse yourself in the local culture as you explore through the labyrinthine streets and visit local markets. Take the opportunity to interact with locals, browse through traditional handicrafts, and taste the flavors of Moroccan cuisine.

Afterwards, we will make our way to Rabat. Rest assured, you’ll have a comfortable overnight stay at one of Rabat’s luxurious hotels.

Day 2: Rabat – Chefchaouen

After breakfast, we will explore Rabat, the capital city of Morocco. Our first stop is the magnificent Royal Palace, a symbol of both modernity and tradition. Marvel at its grandeur as we explore the splendid architecture and learn about the royal family’s role in Moroccan society.

Next, we venture to the ancient ruins of Chellah, a hidden gem that dates back to the Roman Empire. Discover the remains of a Roman city, a medieval necropolis, and a lush garden oasis, all in one place.

From Chellah, we make our way to the charming Kasbah of the Udayas. This quaint fortress overlooking the Bou Regreg River offers panoramic views of the city and the Atlantic Ocean.

Leaving Rabat behind, our adventure continues as we head towards the enchanting city of Chefchaouen, nestled in the Rif Mountains. Known as the Blue City, Chefchaouen boasts a unique charm with its blue-washed buildings, narrow winding streets and vibrant markets.

One of the highlights of our visit to Chefchaouen is exploring its maze-like medina. Don’t be afraid to get lost in this charming labyrinth, shop for unique handicrafts, and sample some local delicacies as it’s all part of the adventure.

To complete this wonderful day, we will spend the night in an authentic riad in the heart of the Medina.

Day 3: Chefchaouen – Volubilis - Meknes - Fes

Today, we will embark on a thrilling journey from Chefchaouen to Meknes, stopping at some incredible spots along the way.

Our first stop is the impressive Roman ruins of Volubilis. As a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site, these ruins offer a fascinating insight into the Roman Empire’s presence in Northern Africa.

Marvel at the remarkably preserved mosaic floors, wander through the old bathhouses, and take in the grandeur of the towering marble pillars. Listen attentively as our certified guide shares captivating tales of life during the Roman Empire.

Afterwards, we will continue our journey to Meknes. Once there, we will have lunch before we begin our guided tour of the majestic Bab Mansour. This stunning ornamental gate, built in the 18th century by Sultan Moulay Ismail, serves as the entrance to the imperial city of Meknes. Its intricate architecture and rich history will leave you awe-inspired.

Next, we visit the impressive Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, a small yet significant monument. This mausoleum is a testament to the legacy of Sultan Moulay Ismail and offers a peaceful place for reflection and reverence.

As we venture further into Meknes, we will pass by the entrance of the Meknes Royal Palace, a striking structure that exudes regal elegance.

Our tour in Meknes concludes with a visit at the grand Heri Es Souani, a vast complex that served as Sultan Moulay Ismail’s personal stable and granary for his extensive cavalry of 12,000 horses.

We leave Meknes and continue our journey towards Fes. Here, we will enjoy a delightful dinner and spend the night.

Day 4: Fes sightseeing Tour with local guide

Fes is a Moroccan city that holds great spiritual and cultural significance. This charming city is known for its ancient medina and historic sites recognized by UNESCO.

After a delicious breakfast at your riad, we will kick off the day with a guided tour of the medina, one of the largest walled-in cities in the world with a history dating back to the 9th century.

Our first stop takes us to the Royal Palace gate, a magnificent entrance that showcases the city’s grandeur. From there, we’ll venture into the Jewish quarter, known as “Mellah,” which was established in the 16th century. This fascinating neighborhood offers a glimpse into the historical legacy of the Jewish community in Fes.

We take a stroll through the quarters of the busy medina where artisans have set up their shops. In one area, you will see souks for brass, copper, and wedding adornments. Another area is dedicated to carpenters, bakers, and butchers who have made it their home.

A true highlight of our tour is a stop at the renowned Fes tannery. From a panoramic viewpoint, we’ll witness the laborious process of treating and dyeing hides.

To experience the spiritual and historical essence of Fes, our journey takes us to Moulay Idriss II Mausoleum. As the founder of Fes, this sacred site holds great significance and provides a glimpse into the city’s origins.

We’ll also have the chance to visit the esteemed Al Karaouine University, dating back to the 9th century, and admire the architecture of one of the many Madrasas.

In the evening, you can relax and de-stress in one of Fes’ fancy riads, enjoying the delicious tastes of traditional Moroccan food.

Day 5: Fes – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga

On day 5 of our 10-day Morocco tour, we embark on a breathtaking journey from Fes to Merzouga. Our first stop along the way is the picturesque town of Ifrane, also known as “Little Switzerland” due to its charming European-style architecture and climate.

As we continue our journey, we’ll pass through a scenic cedar forest located in the Middle Atlas Mountain range. Here you will be able to feed the wild monkeys. Lunch stop in Midelt, a city renowned for its mineral mining industry.

The adventure continues as we drive through the renowned Ziz Valley, famous for its abundant palm trees and lengthy oasis.

Along the way, we’ll also come across numerous ksars, quaint villages made up of individual houses. These villages add to the charm of our trip and provide a glimpse into the local way of life and a chance to experience the authenticity of Morocco.

Our next stop is Erfoud, a town well-known for its vibrant date festival and fossil discoveries. After around seven hours of driving, we will finally arrive at Merzouga Sahara desert.

We’ll check into a cozy Kasbah hotel for the night, enjoy a delectable dinner along with the enchanting desert ambiance.

Day 6: 4x4 excursion in Moroccan Sahara desert

After breakfast at the hotel, we will meet our 4×4 driver for an exciting excursion in the dunes. We’ll have the opportunity to experience the rich desert culture by visiting Nomads and enjoying a cup of traditional tea with them.

This will be a unique chance to learn about their traditional way of life and witness firsthand how they adapt to the challenges of living in this harsh yet beautiful environment.

Next, we’ll head to Khamilia, a small village, where we can immerse ourselves in the captivating performance of the Gnaoua music. Then uncover the mascara and salt mine in Mifis.

In the evening, we’ll go on an amazing camel ride to our desert camp. Enjoy the famous sunset in the Sahara desert before reaching the camp.

At the camp, savor a delicious dinner while enjoying traditional Berber music by the fire. Spend the night in a luxurious tent and enjoy the starry sky.

Day 7: Merzouga (Erg Chebbi) – Todra gorges – Dades Valley

We will start our day with the magnificent sight of the sunrise over the sand dunes of Merzouga’s Erg Chebbi. This magical experience will undoubtedly become one of your most vivid impressions of Morocco!

After a hearty breakfast, we will make our way back to Merzouga to reunite with our driver and embark on our journey towards Todra Gorges. As we venture along the rugged road of a Thousand Kasbahs, we will pass through Rissani, known for its “Fossil Factory.”

Then we continue our drive, passing through the picturesque town of Tinghir, nestled in the midst of a vast palm oasis. This idyllic setting offers a perfect spot for a panoramic photo.

Continuing our expedition, we will arrive at the famous Todra Gorge, where nature’s elements have carved magnificent rock formations, with streams of water gently flowing through them. We will take a leisurely stroll along the gorge.

Following our exploration, we will indulge in a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, savoring not only the flavors of Morocco but also embracing the serenity and tranquility of nature’s untouched beauty.

After, our journey will take us through the Dades Valley, where you’ll see the majestic sand castles and the amazing rock formations known as “monkey toes”. In the evening, we will retreat to a Kasbah hotel, where we will delight in a delectable dinner and spend a peaceful night.

Day 8: Dades Valley – Rose Valley – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

Today we will explore the Valley of Roses in Kelaa M’Gouna, known for its rose products. We’ll then drive along the Road of one thousand Kasbahs, passing the Skoura palm oasis, until we reach Ouarzazate, also called the “Hollywood of Morocco” due to its history of film productions.

Here, we can visit the historic Kasbah Taurirt, the Cinema Museum, and the Atlas film studio.

After a delicious lunch in Ouarzazate, we will embark on a short drive to Ait Ben Hadou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and a popular attraction for Game of Thrones fans. Spend an hour exploring this stunning location before we continue our journey to Marrakech.

Our route to Marrakech takes us through the highest peaks of the Atlas Mountains, including the picturesque Tizi n-Tishka pass with its breathtaking views. Along the way, we will make stops to capture unforgettable photos of the green river valleys, traditional adobe villages, and ancient kasbah ruins.

Finally, we will arrive in Marrakech, where you will relax at the hotel.

Day 9: Marrakech City Tour with Local Guide

After enjoying a delicious breakfast at your hotel, get ready to embark on a truly immersive experience as we explore the captivating and historical city of Marrakesh, famously known as the “Pearl of the South”.

Being the former capital of the Moroccan Kingdom under three dynasties, Marrakesh is brimming with a rich heritage and boasts numerous museums and architectural gems. Each Monument in the city is a piece of art.

Throughout the day, our expert local guide will provide insights into the history, culture, and significance of each landmark.

Our first stop will be the iconic Koutoubia Mosque, known for its towering minaret and magnificent architecture. Adjacent to the mosque, we will visit the Manara Pavilion, surrounded by lush olive plantations.

Next in our itinerary, we will visit Saadian Tombs, a final resting place for the Saadian sultans and their families. These tombs were rediscovered in 1917, showcasing exquisite craftsmanship and intricate mosaic designs that are a testament to the opulence of the Saadian era.

Next, we will explore the palace architecture of the Bahia Palace, El Badii palace, and the Majorelle Gardens.

After lunch, we will have the opportunity to explore Morocco’s vibrant marketplace and the renowned Jemaa El Fna square. This lively square serves as an open-air theater, showcasing an array of captivating performances including snake charmers, traditional healers, merchants, and sorcerers.

We will also explore the bustling marketplace and admire an extensive range of artisanal goods. Overnight accommodation will be provided at a traditional riad, along with a delicious breakfast in the morning.

Day 10: Marrakech – Casablanca airport

On the final day of tour from Casablanca, you will have some free time on your own before being transferred to Casablanca Mohammed V International Airport for your return flight home.
